BHAYA CRUISE

The Bhaya is a new boat with an ancient history. A true traveler of his time, the Vietnamese Emperor Khai Dinh (1885-1925) defied the custom of taking thousands of courtiers on a royal trip, and took just twelve of his most trusted followers on a very exceptional trip to Halong Bay. His ship was one of the best of the wonderful wooden junks that sailed the waters of Halong. Inspired by the romantic landscape of the limestone karst islands rising in the middle of the waters, Khai Dinh commissioned a poem in praised of the bay’s beauty to be carved on the cliff of Dau Go Cave.
The embodiment of an ancient Halong dream, the Bhaya is a flawless combination of traditional eastern delicacy and western luxury and comfort. BHAYA CLASSIC
Built in oriental style with contemporary luxury, Bhaya Cruises established new standards of luxury cruising in Vietnam when Bhaya Classic I entered service in summer 2007.
Each Bhaya Classic vessel offers 20 luxurious cabins and suites and accommodate up to 40 passengers for either 2days/1night cruise or 3days/2nights cruise in Halong Bay.

Cabins
All our Deluxe cabins and Suites are well appointed, with traditional Vietnamese hardwood creating a luxuriant warmth. Light materials and large windows ensure that each cabin is bright and airy. Hand-crafted hardwood furniture, gold and white fittings, and delicate upholstery further enhance the warmth and light in each cabin.
Deluxe Cabins
Our Deluxe cabin (12.5m2) offers all the amenities necessary for you to feel comfortable: twin beds or a queen-size bed, air-conditioner, wall fan, refrigerator, en-suite bathroom with shower. Each features a picture window, providing added light and memorable views.
Royal Suites
The two sumptuous Royal Suites (16.5m2) are located in the forward section of the upper accommodation deck and offer panoramic 180° views. Each Royal Suite offers all the standard amenities of the Deluxe Cabins, plus a larger ensuite bathroom with bathtub, a plush sofa, extended picture windows and an exclusive, private viewing area on the foredeck.

The Dining Room & Bar
Dining is a Bhaya Classic highlight. Feast on a wonderful buffet of Vietnamese and International dishes. The elegant Dining Room compliments the mouth-watering and scenic splendor.
Aside from exquisite dishes and an elegant ambience, the Dining Room can be configured for presentations or meetings, parties or weddings, etc.

The perfect place to relax. The Topside Bar serves up an impressive variety of cocktails in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. A delightful place to socialize and watch the sun wane away into twilight on the Bay

On board Activities
Swimming, snorkeling and kayaking in the crystal waters of Ha Long Bay are favored activities for the energetic while morning Tai Chi on the sundeck offers a meditative and uplifting start for the more contemplative. Built in similar style to the larger Bhaya Classic vessels, the two Bhaya Legend charter vessels feature a single deck design with a semi-covered dining area offering panoramic views.

Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Long (L/D)
08.00   Pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Ha Long
12.00     Check-in at Bhaya Café, Halong City. Embark on Bhaya Classic for a Welcome Cocktail followed by a cruise briefing.
13.00     Savor a delicious Vietnamese buffet lunch as Bhaya Classic heads to Bai Tu Long Bay passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Mat Quy (Monster Head) and Am Tich (Teapot) Islets and Vung Vieng fishing village.
15.30     Visit the fishing village by local rowing boat (01 hour) then return to the vessel for free time at your leisure or join one of the following optional activities:
Kayak into the village or swim near the boat;
Optional onboard activities: Sunbathing, traditional massage, etc.;
Trip by tender to an isolated pristine beach for swimming, etc.

08.30    Explore the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot).
09.30    Return to Bhaya Classic. Buffet brunch is served onboard. The vessel cruises leisurely back to harbor.
11.00    Disembark at Bhaya Café, Halong City. Return Hanoi. End of services.

10.00     Guided kayaking, swimming & snorkeling at Three Peach Beach, a pristine natural beach lapped by the turquoise water.
12.00     Fresh seafood lunch is served onboard.
13.30     Continue on to discover Ho Ba Ham Islet, the most remote point in Lan Ha Bay and bordering the Gulf of Tonkin.
Visit its quaint fishing village and lagoon.
Possibility of kayaking through an amazing tunnel under a karst mountain (time permitting).
16.00     Return to Bhaya Classic.

Bhaya Legend moves on into Vung Vieng fishing village, nestled among the limestone peaks, unaffected by ocean waves or strong winds. Visit the village by kayak or small boat to get up close to the daily lives of the local fisher folk.
Swim, kayak or snorkel the turquoise waters off the pristine white sandy beaches. Watch the sunset over enchanting Ha Long Bay while cruising to an overnight anchorage.

Continue on to discover Ho Ba Ham Islet, the most remote point in Lan Ha Bay and bordering the Gulf of Tonkin. Visit the quaint fishing village and lagoon. Possibility of kayaking through an amazing tunnel under a karst mountain (time & tide permitting).
The vessel then cruises to an overnight anchorage. Set-dinner when you want and overnight aboard.
Day 3: Ha Long – Ha Noi (Brunch)
The crew will ready the vessel to sail to a destination of your choice. Choices include: sightseeing at Sung Sot Grotto; hiking up Titop Mountain; kayaking lagoon or swimming on a deserted beach.
